³⁵ And the people stood by, looking on. And even the ^(A)rulers were scoffing at Him, saying, “He saved others; ^(B)let Him save Himself if this is the ^[a]Christ of God, His Chosen One.”

²⁶ And look, He is speaking openly, and they are saying nothing to Him. ^(A)Do the rulers truly know that this is the ^[a]Christ?

^48 (A)Have any of ^(B)the rulers or Pharisees believed in Him?

⁴² Nevertheless ^(A)many even of ^(B)the rulers believed in Him, but ^(C)because of the Pharisees they were not confessing Him, ^[a]for fear that they would be ^(D)put out of the synagogue;

¹⁷ “And now, brothers, I know that you acted ^(A)in ignorance, just as your ^(B)rulers did also.

⁵ Now it happened that on the next day, their ^(A)rulers and elders and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem;

⁸ Then Peter, ^[a](A)filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “^[b](B)Rulers and elders of the people,

²⁷ For those who live in Jerusalem, and their ^(A)rulers, ^(B)recognizing neither Him nor the ^[a]utterances of ^(C)the prophets which are ^(D)read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by condemning Him.
