⁵³ When ^(A)I was with you day after day in the temple, you did not lay hands on me. But this is ^(B)your hour, and ^(C)the power of darkness.”

³ And even ^(A)if our gospel is veiled, ^(B)it is veiled to ^(C)those who are perishing. ⁴ In their case ^(D)the god of this world ^(E)has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing ^(F)the light of ^(G)the gospel of the glory of Christ, ^(H)who is the image of God.

¹² For ^(A)we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against ^(B)the rulers, against the authorities, against ^(C)the cosmic powers over ^(D)this present darkness, against ^(E)the spiritual forces of evil ^(F)in the heavenly places. ¹³ Therefore ^(G)take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in ^(H)the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. ¹⁴ Stand therefore, ^(I)having fastened on the belt of truth, and ^(J)having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and, ^(K)as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In all circumstances take up ^(L)the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all ^(M)the flaming darts of ^(N)the evil one;

¹³ He ^(A)has delivered us from ^(B)the domain of darkness and transferred us to ^(C)the kingdom of ^(D)his beloved Son,

¹⁴ Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise ^(A)partook of the same things, that ^(B)through death he might ^(C)destroy ^(D)the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, ¹⁵ and deliver all those who ^(E)through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.
