37 y después de viuda, hasta los ochenta y cuatro años. Nunca se alejaba del templo, sirviendo noche y día con ayunos y oraciones(A). 38 Y llegando ella en ese preciso momento[a], daba gracias a Dios, y hablaba de Él a todos los que esperaban la redención de Jerusalén(B).
Crecimiento de Jesús
39 Habiendo ellos cumplido con todo conforme a la Ley del Señor, se volvieron a Galilea, a su ciudad de Nazaret(C).

37 hacía ya ochenta y cuatro años que se había quedado viuda. Nunca salía del templo, sino que servía día y noche al Señor, con ayunos y oraciones. 38 Ana se presentó en aquel mismo momento, y comenzó a dar gracias a Dios y a hablar del niño Jesús a todos los que esperaban la liberación de Jerusalén.

39 Después de haber cumplido con todo lo que manda la ley del Señor, volvieron a Galilea, a su propio pueblo de Nazaret.

New International Version
37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four.[a](A) She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.(B) 38 Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.(C)
39 When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth.(D)

37 Her husband had died and she had lived without a husband eighty-four years. Yet she did not go away from the house of God. She served God day and night, praying and going without food so she could pray better. 38 At that time she came and gave thanks to God. She told the people in Jerusalem about Jesus. They were looking for the One to save them from the punishment of their sins and to set them free.

39 When Joseph and Mary had done everything the Law said to do, they went back to Nazareth in Galilee.
