8 Y alabó el amo al mayordomo malo por haber actuado sagazmente, porque los hijos de este siglo son más sagaces en el trato con sus semejantes que los hijos de luz.
9 »Y yo os digo: Ganad amigos por medio de las riquezas injustas, para que cuando éstas falten, os reciban en las moradas eternas.
10 »El que es fiel en lo muy poco, también en lo más es fiel; y el que en lo muy poco es injusto, también en lo más es injusto.

8 “The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world(A) are more shrewd(B) in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.(C) 9 I tell you, use worldly wealth(D) to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.(E)
10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much,(F) and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
