Ma quỉ cám dỗ Chúa Giê-xu(A)
4 Chúa Giê-xu được đầy dẫy Thánh Linh từ sông Giô-đanh trở về. Thánh Linh đưa Ngài vào vùng đồng hoang 2 để ma quỉ cám dỗ trong bốn mươi ngày. Ngài cữ ăn suốt thời gian ấy nên sau thì Ngài đói lả.
3 Ma quỉ mới nói với Ngài, “Nếu anh là Con Thượng Đế, hãy biến đá nầy thành bánh đi.”
4 Chúa Giê-xu đáp, “Nhưng Thánh Kinh viết:
‘Con người sống không phải chỉ nhờ bánh mà thôi đâu.’” (B)
5 Ma quỉ liền mang Chúa Giê-xu lên một nơi cao và chỉ cho Ngài thấy mọi nước trên thế gian trong chốc lát. 6 Nó bảo Ngài, “Tôi sẽ cho anh hết các quốc gia nầy luôn cả quyền lực và vinh quang của chúng. Vì tất cả đều đã được giao cho tôi, nên tôi muốn cho ai tùy ý. 7 Nếu anh chịu bái lạy tôi, tôi sẽ cho anh hết.”
8 Chúa Giê-xu đáp, “Thánh Kinh dạy:
‘Ngươi phải tôn thờ Chúa là Thượng Đế của ngươi
và chỉ phục vụ một mình Ngài mà thôi.’” (C)
9 Sau đó ma quỉ đưa Chúa Giê-xu đến thành Giê-ru-sa-lem và đặt Ngài lên một đỉnh cao của đền thờ. Nó nói với Ngài, “Nếu anh là Con Thượng Đế, hãy nhảy xuống đi. 10 Vì có lời Thánh Kinh ghi:
‘Ngài sẽ cho thiên sứ chăm sóc ngươi và bảo bọc ngươi.’ (D)
11 Cũng có lời viết:
‘Các thiên sứ ấy sẽ giữ ngươi
trong bàn tay để chân ngươi khỏi vấp nhằm đá.’” (E)
12 Chúa Giê-xu đáp, “Nhưng cũng có lời Thánh Kinh ghi: ‘Ngươi chớ nên thách thức Chúa là Thượng Đế ngươi.’” [a]
13 Sau khi tìm đủ cách cám dỗ Chúa Giê-xu, ma quỉ liền bỏ đi, chờ cơ hội khác.
Chúa Giê-xu dạy dỗ dân chúng(F)
14 Chúa Giê-xu trở lại miền Ga-li-lê với đầy năng quyền của Thánh Linh. Danh tiếng Ngài đồn ra khắp cả miền ấy. 15 Ngài bắt đầu giảng dạy trong các hội đường, mọi người đều ca tụng Ngài.
Chúa Giê-xu trở về quê quán(G)
16 Chúa Giê-xu trở về Na-xa-rét là nơi sinh trưởng. Vào ngày Sa-bát, theo thói quen, Ngài vào hội đường và đứng dậy đọc. 17 Có người đưa cho Ngài sách tiên tri Ê-sai. Ngài mở ra gặp chỗ viết:
18 Chúa đặt Thần Linh Ngài trong ta,
vì Ngài đã chỉ định ta rao Tin Mừng cho kẻ nghèo.
Ngài sai ta báo cho những kẻ bị cầm tù
là họ đã được trả tự do rồi,
và cho người mù biết là họ sẽ sáng mắt trở lại.
Ngài sai ta giải thoát những người bị áp bức,
19 và báo tin thời kỳ Chúa sẽ bày tỏ lòng nhân từ của Ngài. (H)
20 Chúa Giê-xu xếp sách lại, trao cho người giữ và ngồi xuống. Mọi người có mặt trong hội đường nhìn Ngài chăm chú. 21 Ngài bảo, “Hôm nay, những lời các ông bà vừa mới nghe đang được thực hiện!”
22 Mọi người đều nói tốt về Ngài. Họ lấy làm ngạc nhiên về những lời kỳ diệu mà Ngài nói ra. Họ hỏi nhau, “Đây có phải là con Giô-xép không?”
23 Chúa Giê-xu bảo họ, “Tôi biết các ông bà muốn nói với tôi câu ngạn ngữ: ‘Ông bác sĩ ơi, hãy tự chữa mình đi.’ Các ông bà muốn nói, ‘Những gì chúng tôi nghe ông làm ở Ca-bê-nâm thì cũng hãy làm tại tỉnh nhà nầy đi!’” 24 Rồi Chúa Giê-xu nói, “Tôi bảo thật, nhà tiên tri không bao giờ được chấp nhận nơi quê quán của mình cả. 25 Thật vậy, vào thời Ê-li có rất nhiều bà góa trong Ít-ra-en. Suốt ba năm rưỡi đằng đẵng, khắp nước Ít-ra-en không có một giọt mưa, cả xứ không nơi nào có thức ăn. 26 Nhưng Ê-li không được sai đến với bà nào trong số đó cả mà lại được sai đến với một bà góa ở Xa-rép-ta, một tỉnh thuộc Xi-đôn. 27 Trong thời nhà tiên tri Ê-li-sê có rất nhiều người mắc bệnh cùi trong Ít-ra-en nhưng không có một ai được chữa lành, chỉ một mình Na-a-man, người xứ Xy-ri thôi.”
28 Khi dân chúng trong hội đường nghe những chuyện ấy thì tức giận. 29 Họ đứng dậy, đẩy Ngài ra khỏi thành phố, lôi Ngài đến bờ vực nơi thành phố được xây, định xô Ngài xuống. 30 Nhưng Chúa Giê-xu lách qua giữa đám đông và đi khỏi.
Chúa Giê-xu đuổi quỉ(I)
31 Chúa Giê-xu đến Ca-bê-nâm, một thị trấn miền Ga-li-lê và vào ngày Sa-bát, Ngài dạy dỗ dân chúng. 32 Họ rất ngạc nhiên về lối dạy dỗ của Ngài, vì Ngài dạy bằng quyền năng. 33 Trong hội đường có một người đang bị ác quỉ ám. Anh la lớn, 34 “Giê-xu người Na-xa-rét ơi! Ngài muốn làm gì chúng tôi đây? Có phải Ngài đến để diệt chúng tôi không? Tôi biết Ngài là ai—Ngài là Đấng Thánh của Thượng Đế!” 35 Chúa Giê-xu mắng quỉ, “Im đi! Ra khỏi người nầy ngay!” Ác quỉ vật anh xuống đất trước mặt mọi người, rồi ra khỏi mà không gây thương tích gì cho anh.
36 Dân chúng vô cùng kinh ngạc bảo nhau, “Việc nầy là nghĩa làm sao? Ngài dùng quyền năng ra lệnh cho tà ma, đuổi chúng ra khỏi người ta.” 37 Thế là danh tiếng Ngài đồn ra khắp vùng ấy.
Chúa Giê-xu chữa lành bà mẹ vợ của Phia-rơ(J)
38 Rời hội đường, Chúa Giê-xu đi đến nhà Xi-môn [b]. Bà mẹ vợ của Xi-môn đang lên cơn sốt nặng. Người ta xin Ngài chữa cho bà. 39 Chúa Giê-xu đến bên giường ra lệnh cho cơn sốt. Cơn sốt dứt, bà lập tức ngồi dậy và phục vụ mọi người.
Chúa Giê-xu chữa lành nhiều người
40 Khi mặt trời lặn, dân chúng mang những người bệnh đến với Chúa Giê-xu. Ngài đặt tay trên từng người và chữa lành cho tất cả. 41 Tà ma cũng ra khỏi nhiều người và la lớn, “Ngài là Con Thượng Đế.” Nhưng Chúa Giê-xu cấm chúng không được nói ra vì chúng nó biết Ngài là Đấng Cứu Thế.
Chúa Giê-xu thăm các thành khác(K)
42 Sáng sớm tinh sương, Chúa Giê-xu ra nơi vắng vẻ. Dân chúng kéo nhau đi tìm Ngài. Khi tìm được rồi, họ muốn giữ Ngài lại không cho đi. 43 Nhưng Chúa Giê-xu bảo họ, “Ta phải rao giảng Nước Trời cho các tỉnh khác nữa. Vì lý do ấy mà Thượng Đế sai ta đến.”
44 Rồi Ngài tiếp tục giảng dạy trong các hội đường miền Giu-đia.

耶穌受試探
4 耶穌被聖靈充滿，從約旦河回來後，隨聖靈的引導來到曠野， 2 在那裡受魔鬼的試探四十天。那些日子耶穌什麼也沒吃。那段日子過後，祂餓了。 3 魔鬼對祂說：「如果你是上帝的兒子，可以把這塊石頭變成食物來吃啊。」
4 耶穌回答說：「聖經上說，『人活著不是單靠食物。』」
5 魔鬼又帶祂上到高處，頃刻間把天下萬國展示給祂看， 6 又說：「我要把這一切權勢和榮耀都給你，因為這一切全交給我了，我想給誰就給誰。 7 所以如果你向我下拜，這一切就是你的了。」
8 耶穌回答說：「聖經上說，『要敬拜主——你的上帝，單單事奉祂。』」
9 魔鬼又帶耶穌到耶路撒冷，讓祂站在聖殿的最高處，說：「如果你是上帝的兒子，就從這裡跳下去吧， 10 因為聖經上說，『上帝會吩咐祂的天使保護你， 11 他們會用手托住你，不讓你的腳碰在石頭上。』」
12 耶穌回答說：「聖經上說，『不可試探主——你的上帝。』」
13 魔鬼用盡各樣的試探後，暫時離開了耶穌。
拿撒勒人厭棄耶穌
14 耶穌帶著聖靈的能力回到加利利，祂的名聲傳遍了周圍地區。 15 祂在各會堂裡教導人，大家都稱讚祂。
16 祂來到自己長大的地方拿撒勒，照常在安息日進會堂，並站起來誦讀聖經。 17 有人把以賽亞先知書遞給祂，祂打開書卷，找到這樣一段經文：
18 「主的靈在我身上，
因為祂膏立了我，
讓我傳福音給貧窮的人，
差遣我宣告被擄的人得釋放、
瞎眼的人得見光明、
受欺壓的人得自由，
19 又宣告上帝悅納人的恩年已經來臨。」
20 耶穌讀完便收好書卷，還給負責的人，然後坐下。會堂裡的人都把目光集中在祂身上。
21 祂就對他們說：「你們剛才聽見的這段經文今天已經應驗了。」
22 大家都稱讚祂，聽見祂那些充滿恩典的話，都感到驚奇，就說：「這不是約瑟的兒子嗎？」
23 耶穌對他們說：「你們肯定會把這句俗話用在我身上，說，『醫生啊，治好你自己吧！你在迦百農所行的一切，我們都聽說了，也在你家鄉行給我們看吧！』 24 可是我實在告訴你們，先知在自己的家鄉都是不受歡迎的。 25 事實上，在以利亞先知的時代，天乾旱無雨達三年半之久，遍地有大饑荒。那時，以色列國有許多寡婦， 26 但以利亞並沒有奉命去幫助她們任何人，只奉命去幫助住在西頓地區撒勒法的一個寡婦。 27 在以利沙先知的時代，以色列國有許多患痲瘋病的人，但沒有一個人得到醫治，反而敘利亞的乃縵得到了醫治。」
28 會堂裡的人聽了這些話都怒火中燒， 29 就起來把耶穌趕出城外，帶到懸崖邊，要把祂推下去。他們的城就坐落在山上。 30 耶穌卻從他們中間穿過，離開了那裡。
加利利趕鬼醫病
31 耶穌下到加利利的迦百農鎮，在安息日教導眾人。 32 聽眾對祂的教導感到驚奇，因為祂的話裡充滿權柄。
33 在會堂裡有一個被污鬼附身的人高聲喊叫： 34 「唉！拿撒勒的耶穌啊，我們和你有什麼關係？你是來毀滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，你是上帝的聖者！」
35 耶穌責備牠說：「住口！從他身上出來！」污鬼當場把那人摔倒，然後從他身上離開了，絲毫沒有傷害他。
36 大家都很驚訝，彼此議論說：「這是怎麼回事？祂的話竟然帶著權柄和能力，一吩咐污鬼，牠們就出來了！」
37 耶穌的名聲傳遍了周圍地區。
耶穌醫治許多人
38 祂離開會堂，到了西門的家。那時，西門的岳母正在發高燒，眾人就求耶穌醫治她。
39 耶穌站在她旁邊，斥責熱病，熱病就退了，她便立刻起來服侍他們。
40 到了黃昏，人們把患各種疾病的人帶到耶穌面前。耶穌把手按在病人身上，一一治好他們， 41 並趕出許多附在人身上的鬼。那些鬼喊叫著：「你是上帝的兒子！」耶穌卻斥責牠們，不許牠們說話，因為牠們知道祂是基督。
42 黎明時，耶穌退到一處僻靜的地方。眾人四處找祂，找到後想留住祂，不讓祂離開。 43 但耶穌對他們說：「我必須把上帝國的福音傳到其他的城鎮去，因為我是為此而被差來的。」 44 於是耶穌繼續在加利利[a]各會堂裡傳道。

Jesús es tentado
4 (A)Jesús, lleno del Espíritu Santo, volvió del Jordán(B) y fue llevado por el[a] Espíritu en el desierto 2 por cuarenta días, siendo tentado por el diablo. Y no comió nada durante esos días(C), pasados los cuales tuvo hambre. 3 Entonces el diablo le dijo: Si eres Hijo de Dios, di a esta piedra que se convierta en pan. 4 Jesús le respondió: Escrito está: «No solo de pan vivirá el hombre(D)». 5 Llevándole a una altura(E), el diablo le mostró en un instante todos los reinos del mundo[b](F). 6 Y el diablo le dijo: Todo este dominio y su gloria te daré; pues a mí me ha sido entregado(G), y a quien quiero se lo doy. 7 Por tanto, si te postras[c] delante de mí, todo será tuyo. 8 Respondiendo Jesús, le dijo: Escrito está: «Al Señor tu Dios adorarás, y a Él solo servirás(H)». 9 Entonces el diablo le llevó a Jerusalén y le puso sobre el pináculo del templo, y le dijo: Si eres Hijo de Dios, lánzate abajo desde aquí(I), 10 pues escrito está:
«A sus Ángeles te encomendará para que te guarden(J)»,
11 y:
«en las manos te llevarán,
no sea que tu pie tropiece en piedra(K)».
12 Respondiendo Jesús, le dijo: Se ha dicho: «No tentaras[d] al Señor tu Dios(L)».

Ministerio en Galilea
14 Jesús regresó a Galilea(M) en el poder del Espíritu, y las nuevas[f] acerca de Él se divulgaron por toda aquella comarca(N). 15 Y enseñaba en sus sinagogas(O), siendo alabado por todos.
Jesús en Nazaret
16 Llegó a Nazaret, donde se había criado(P), y según su costumbre, entró en la sinagoga(Q) el día de reposo, y se levantó a leer(R). 17 Le dieron el libro[g] del profeta Isaías, y abriendo el libro[h], halló el lugar donde estaba escrito:
18 El Espíritu del Señor está sobre mí,
porque me ha ungido para anunciar el evangelio a los pobres.
Me ha enviado[i] para proclamar libertad a los cautivos,
y la recuperación de la vista a los ciegos;
para poner en libertad a los oprimidos(S);
19 para proclamar el año favorable del Señor(T).
20 Cerrando el libro[j](U), lo devolvió al asistente y se sentó(V); y los ojos de todos en la sinagoga estaban fijos en Él. 21 Y comenzó a decirles: Hoy se ha cumplido esta Escritura que habéis oído[k]. 22 Y todos hablaban bien[l] de Él y se maravillaban de las palabras llenas de gracia que salían de su boca, y decían: ¿No es este el hijo de José(W)? 23 Entonces Él les dijo: Sin duda me citaréis este refrán: «Médico, cúrate a ti mismo»; esto es, todo lo que oímos que se ha hecho en Capernaúm(X), hazlo también aquí en tu tierra(Y). 24 Y dijo: En verdad os digo, que ningún profeta es bien recibido en su propia tierra(Z). 25 Pero en verdad os digo: muchas viudas había en Israel en los días de Elías, cuando el cielo fue cerrado por tres años y seis meses(AA) y cuando hubo gran hambre sobre toda la tierra; 26 y sin embargo, a ninguna de ellas fue enviado Elías, sino a una mujer viuda de Sarepta, en la tierra de Sidón(AB). 27 Y muchos leprosos había en Israel en tiempos del profeta Eliseo, pero ninguno de ellos fue limpiado, sino Naamán el sirio(AC). 28 Y todos en la sinagoga se llenaron de ira cuando oyeron estas cosas, 29 y levantándose, le echaron fuera de la ciudad(AD), y le llevaron hasta la cumbre del monte sobre el cual estaba edificada su ciudad para despeñarle. 30 Pero Él, pasando por en medio de ellos(AE), se fue.
Jesús enseña en Capernaúm
31 Y descendió a Capernaúm(AF), ciudad de Galilea. (AG)Y les enseñaba en los días de reposo; 32 y se admiraban de su enseñanza(AH) porque su mensaje[m] era con autoridad(AI). 33 Y estaba en la sinagoga un hombre poseído por el espíritu[n] de un demonio inmundo, y gritó a gran voz: 34 Déjanos ¿Qué tenemos que ver contigo[o](AJ), Jesús de Nazaret[p]? ¿Has venido a destruirnos? Yo sé quién eres: el Santo de Dios(AK). 35 Jesús entonces lo reprendió(AL), diciendo: ¡Cállate y sal de él! Y después que el demonio lo derribó en medio de ellos, salió de él sin hacerle ningún daño. 36 Y todos se quedaron asombrados[q], y discutían entre sí, diciendo: ¿Qué mensaje es este? Porque[r] con autoridad(AM) y poder manda a los espíritus inmundos y salen. 37 Y su fama[s] se divulgaba por todos los lugares de la región circunvecina(AN).
Jesús sana a la suegra de Simón y a muchos otros
38 (AO)Y levantándose, salió de la sinagoga y entró en casa de Simón. Y la suegra de Simón se hallaba sufriendo con una fiebre muy alta(AP), y le rogaron por ella. 39 E inclinándose sobre ella, reprendió(AQ) la fiebre, y la fiebre la dejó; y al instante ella se levantó y les servía.
40 (AR)Al ponerse el sol, todos los que tenían enfermos de diversas enfermedades(AS) se los llevaban a Él; y poniendo Él las manos(AT) sobre cada uno de ellos, los sanaba(AU). 41 También de muchos salían demonios, gritando y diciendo: ¡Tú eres el Hijo de Dios(AV)! Pero, reprendiéndolos(AW), no les permitía hablar, porque sabían que Él era el Cristo[t](AX).
Jesús recorre otras ciudades
42 (AY)Cuando se hizo de día, salió y se fue a un lugar solitario; y las multitudes le buscaban, y llegaron adonde Él estaba y procuraron detenerle para que no se separara de ellos. 43 Pero Él les dijo: También a las otras ciudades debo anunciar las buenas nuevas del reino de Dios, porque para esto(AZ) yo he sido enviado.
44 Y predicaba en las sinagogas de Judea[u](BA).

Jesus Is Tested in the Wilderness(A)
4 Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit,(B) left the Jordan(C) and was led by the Spirit(D) into the wilderness, 2 where for forty days(E) he was tempted[a] by the devil.(F) He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.
3 The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God,(G) tell this stone to become bread.”
4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.’[b]”(H)
5 The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world.(I) 6 And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me,(J) and I can give it to anyone I want to. 7 If you worship me, it will all be yours.”
8 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’[c]”(K)
9 The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down from here. 10 For it is written:
“‘He will command his angels concerning you
to guard you carefully;
11 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[d]”(L)
12 Jesus answered, “It is said: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[e]”(M)
13 When the devil had finished all this tempting,(N) he left him(O) until an opportune time.
Jesus Rejected at Nazareth
14 Jesus returned to Galilee(P) in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.(Q) 15 He was teaching in their synagogues,(R) and everyone praised him.
16 He went to Nazareth,(S) where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue,(T) as was his custom. He stood up to read,(U) 17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,(V)
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news(W) to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”[f](X)
20 Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down.(Y) The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled(Z) in your hearing.”
22 All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” they asked.(AA)
23 Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself!’ And you will tell me, ‘Do here in your hometown(AB) what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.’”(AC)
24 “Truly I tell you,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown.(AD) 25 I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land.(AE) 26 Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon.(AF) 27 And there were many in Israel with leprosy[g] in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”(AG)
28 All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. 29 They got up, drove him out of the town,(AH) and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him off the cliff. 30 But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way.(AI)
Jesus Drives Out an Impure Spirit(AJ)
31 Then he went down to Capernaum,(AK) a town in Galilee, and on the Sabbath he taught the people. 32 They were amazed at his teaching,(AL) because his words had authority.(AM)
33 In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an impure spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice, 34 “Go away! What do you want with us,(AN) Jesus of Nazareth?(AO) Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are(AP)—the Holy One of God!”(AQ)
35 “Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly.(AR) “Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him.
36 All the people were amazed(AS) and said to each other, “What words these are! With authority(AT) and power he gives orders to impure spirits and they come out!” 37 And the news about him spread throughout the surrounding area.(AU)
Jesus Heals Many(AV)(AW)
38 Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. 39 So he bent over her and rebuked(AX) the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them.
40 At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one,(AY) he healed them.(AZ) 41 Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!”(BA) But he rebuked(BB) them and would not allow them to speak,(BC) because they knew he was the Messiah.
42 At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for him and when they came to where he was, they tried to keep him from leaving them. 43 But he said, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God(BD) to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” 44 And he kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.(BE)
