The Ritual After Childbirth(A)
12 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If a (B)woman has conceived, and borne a male child, then (C)she shall be [a]unclean seven days; (D)as in the days of her customary impurity she shall be unclean. 3 And on the (E)eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. 4 She shall then continue in the blood of her purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any [b]hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary until the days of her purification are fulfilled.
5 ‘But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her customary impurity, and she shall continue in the blood of her purification sixty-six days.
6 (F)‘When the days of her purification are fulfilled, whether for a son or a daughter, she shall bring to the priest a (G)lamb [c]of the first year as a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove as a (H)sin offering, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 7 Then he shall offer it before the Lord, and make [d]atonement for her. And she shall be clean from the flow of her blood. This is the law for her who has borne a male or a female.
8 (I)‘And if she is not able to bring a lamb, then she may bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a burnt offering and the other as a sin offering. (J)So the priest shall make atonement for her, and she will be [e]clean.’ ”

12 Y el Señor habló a Moisés, diciendo: 2 Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles[a]: «Cuando una mujer dé a luz[b] y tenga varón, quedará impura por siete días; como en los días de su menstruación[c](A), será impura. 3 Al octavo día la carne del[d] prepucio del niño será circuncidada(B). 4 Y ella permanecerá en la sangre de su purificación por treinta y tres días; no tocará ninguna cosa consagrada ni entrará al santuario hasta que los días de su purificación sean cumplidos. 5 Pero si da a luz una niña, quedará impura por dos semanas, como en los días de su menstruación[e]; y permanecerá en la sangre de su purificación por sesenta y seis días.
6 »Cuando se cumplan los días de su purificación(C) por un hijo o por una hija, traerá al sacerdote, a la entrada de la tienda de reunión, un cordero de un año como holocausto, y un pichón o una tórtola como ofrenda por el pecado(D). 7 Entonces él los ofrecerá delante del Señor y hará expiación por ella, y quedará limpia del flujo[f] de su sangre. Esta es la ley para la que da a luz, sea hijo o hija. 8 Pero si no le alcanzan los recursos para ofrecer un cordero[g], entonces tomará dos tórtolas o dos pichones(E), uno para el holocausto y el otro para la ofrenda por el pecado(F); y el sacerdote hará expiación por ella, y quedará limpia(G)».

12 И Господ каза на Моисей:
2 (A)Кажи на израилтяните: Ако жена зачене и роди мъжко дете, тя ще бъде нечиста седем дни; както в дните, когато е отделена поради месечното си неразположение, ще бъде нечиста.
3 (B)А на осмия ден да се обреже краекожието на детето.
4 Но тя да остава тридесет и три дни за очистването си от кръвта си; до никоя осветена вещ да не се допира и в светилището да не влиза, преди да се свършат дните на очистването ѝ.
5 Но ако роди женско дете, тя ще бъде нечиста две седмици, както когато е отделена поради месечното си неразположение; и да остава шестдесет и шест дни за очистването си от кръвта си.
6 (C)А когато се свършат дните на очистването ѝ за син или за дъщеря, нека донесе при свещеника едногодишно агне за всеизгаряне; и гълъбче или гургулица в принос за грях до входа на шатъра за срещане;
7 и той да го принесе пред Господа и да направи умилостивение за нея, и тя ще бъде чиста от течението на кръвта си. Това е законът за родилката на мъжко или женско дете.
8 (D)Но ако не може да си позволи да донесе агне, нека донесе две гургулици или две гълъбчета – едното за всеизгаряне, а другото в принос за грях; и свещеникът да направи умилостивение за нея и тя ще бъде чиста.
