¹² And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it. It shall not go out, but the priest shall burn wood on it every morning; and he shall lay out the burnt offering on it and offer up in smoke the fat portions of the peace offerings ^(A)on it. ¹³ Fire shall be kept burning continually on the altar; it shall not go out.

The Levitical Responsibilities

¹⁵ “But the ^(A)Levitical priests, the sons of ^(B)Zadok, who ^(C)kept the responsibility of My sanctuary when the sons of Israel ^(D)went astray from Me, shall come near to Me to minister to Me; and they shall ^(E)stand before Me to bring near to Me the ^(F)fat and the blood,” declares Lord Yahweh.
