GOD’S WORD Translation
16 If there are still many years ⌞until the jubilee⌟, you will pay more for it. If there are only a few years ⌞until the jubilee⌟, you will pay less for it because he is selling you only the number of crops. 17 Never take advantage of each other. Fear your God, because I am the Lord your God.
18 “Obey my laws, and carefully follow my rules. Then you will live securely in the land.

16 When the years are many, you are to increase the price, and when the years are few, you are to decrease the price,(A) because what is really being sold to you is the number of crops. 17 Do not take advantage of each other,(B) but fear your God.(C) I am the Lord your God.(D)
18 “‘Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws,(E) and you will live safely in the land.(F)
