16 If it is a long time before the next Year of Celebration, the price will be higher, because what is really being sold are the crops that the land can produce. 17 I am the Lord your God, so obey me and don't cheat anyone.
18-19 If you obey my laws and teachings, you will live safely in the land and enjoy its abundant crops.

16 When the years are many, you are to increase the price, and when the years are few, you are to decrease the price,(A) because what is really being sold to you is the number of crops. 17 Do not take advantage of each other,(B) but fear your God.(C) I am the Lord your God.(D)
18 “‘Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws,(E) and you will live safely in the land.(F)
