¹⁴ If you make a sale, moreover, to your companion or buy from your friend’s hand, ^(A)you shall not mistreat one another.

⁵ For ^(A)if you truly make your ways and your deeds good, if you truly ^(B)do justice between a man and his neighbor, ⁶ if you do not oppress the sojourner, the ^[a](C)orphan, or the widow, and do not shed ^(D)innocent blood in this place, nor ^(E)walk after other gods to your own evil demise,

⁶ and that no man transgress and ^(A)defraud his brother ^(B)in the matter because ^(C)the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also ^(D)told you before and solemnly warned you.
