² “Speak to all the congregation of the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘^(A)You shall be holy, for I, Yahweh your God, am holy.

^13 (A)You shall be ^[a]blameless before Yahweh your God.

7 Therefore, having these promises, ^(A)beloved, ^(B)let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Pressing On Toward the Goal

¹² Not that I have already ^(A)obtained it or have already ^(B)become perfect, but I press on ^[a]so that I may ^(C)lay hold of that ^[b]for which also I ^(D)was laid hold of by ^(E)Christ Jesus. ¹³ Brothers, I do not consider myself as having laid hold of it yet, but one thing I do: ^(F)forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, ¹⁴ I ^(G)press on toward the goal for the prize of the ^(H)upward call of God in ^(I)Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Let us therefore, as many as are ^[c](J)perfect, think this way; and if in anything you ^(K)think differently, ^(L)God will reveal that also to you.
