1 Peter 1:15-25

¹⁵ but ^[a](A)like the Holy One who called you, ^[b](B)be holy yourselves also ^(C)in all your conduct; ¹⁶ because it is written, “^(D)You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

¹⁷ And if you ^(E)address as Father the One who ^(F)impartially ^(G)judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves ^[c](H)in fear during the time of your ^(I)sojourn, ¹⁸ knowing that you were not ^[d](J)redeemed with corruptible things like silver or gold from your ^(K)futile conduct inherited from your forefathers, ¹⁹ but with precious ^(L)blood, as of a ^(M)lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. ²⁰ He was ^(N)foreknown before ^(O)the foundation of the world, but ^(P)appeared ^[e]in these last times ^(Q)for the sake of you ²¹ who through Him are ^(R)believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and ^(S)gave Him glory, so that your faith and ^(T)hope are in God.

²² Since you have ^(U)in obedience to the truth ^(V)purified your souls for a love of the brothers ^(W)without hypocrisy, fervently love one another from ^[f]the heart, ²³ for you have been ^(X)born again ^(Y)not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, that is, through the living and enduring ^(Z)word of God. ²⁴ For,

And this is ^(AC)the word which was ^[g]proclaimed to you as good news.
