¹⁷ And he presented the ^(A)grain offering, took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar, ^(B)besides the burnt offering of the morning.

Laws for Grain Offerings

2 “When anyone brings a ^(A)grain offering as an offering to the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour. ^(B)He shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it ² and bring it to Aaron's sons the priests. And he shall take from it a handful of the fine flour and oil, with all of its frankincense, and the priest shall burn this as its ^(C)memorial portion on the altar, a food ^(D)offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

²⁰ I have been ^(A)crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives ^(B)in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, ^(C)who loved me and ^(D)gave himself for me.

⁵³ So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of ^(A)the Son of Man and drink his blood, you ^(B)have no life in you.

The Lord Accepts Aaron's Offering

9 ^(A)On the eighth day Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel,

⁵ Then Aaron's sons ^(A)shall burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offering, which is on the wood on the fire; it is a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

³⁸ “Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: ^(A)two lambs a year old ^(B)day by day regularly. ³⁹ One lamb you shall offer ^(C)in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer ^(D)at twilight. ⁴⁰ And with the first lamb a tenth measure^[a] of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin^[b] of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering. ⁴¹ The other lamb you shall offer ^(E)at twilight, and shall offer with it a grain offering and its drink offering, as ^(F)in the morning, for a ^(G)pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. ⁴² It shall be a ^(H)regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the Lord, ^(I)where I will meet with you, to speak to you there.
