⁶ He is to dip his finger into the blood and sprinkle^(A) some of it seven times before the Lord,^(B) in front of the curtain of the sanctuary.^(C)

⁸ When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the Lord went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant followed them.

⁴ Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns^(A) in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets.^(B)

²⁸ then in my anger^(A) I will be hostile^(B) toward you, and I myself will punish you for your sins seven times over.^(C)

²⁴ I myself will be hostile^(A) toward you and will afflict you for your sins seven times over.

¹⁸ “‘If after all this you will not listen to me,^(A) I will punish^(B) you for your sins seven times over.^(C)

¹⁹ He shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times to cleanse it and to consecrate it from the uncleanness of the Israelites.^(A)

¹⁴ He is to take some of the bull’s blood^(A) and with his finger sprinkle it on the front of the atonement cover; then he shall sprinkle some of it with his finger seven times before the atonement cover.^(B)

¹⁸ The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed^(A) and make atonement for them before the Lord.

²⁷ and with his right forefinger sprinkle some of the oil from his palm seven times before the Lord.
