6 So Israel was brought (A)very low because of Midian, and the sons of Israel cried out to Yahweh.
7 Now it happened when the sons of Israel cried out to Yahweh on account of Midian, 8 that Yahweh sent a prophet to the sons of Israel, and (B)he said to them, “Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, ‘It was I who brought you up from Egypt and brought you out from the house of slavery.

6 Midian so impoverished the Israelites that they cried out(A) to the Lord for help.
7 When the Israelites cried out(B) to the Lord because of Midian, 8 he sent them a prophet,(C) who said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I brought you up out of Egypt,(D) out of the land of slavery.(E)
