27 and asked Adonai what to do. The ark for the covenant of God was there at that time; 28 and Pinchas the son of El‘azar, the son of Aharon, stood before it at that time. They asked, “Should we still go out to battle again against our kinsmen the people of Binyamin, or should we stop?” Adonai answered, “Attack, because tomorrow I will hand them over to you.”

27 And the Israelites inquired of the Lord.(A) (In those days the ark of the covenant of God(B) was there, 28 with Phinehas son of Eleazar,(C) the son of Aaron, ministering before it.)(D) They asked, “Shall we go up again to fight against the Benjamites, our fellow Israelites, or not?”
The Lord responded, “Go, for tomorrow I will give them into your hands.(E)”
29 Then Israel set an ambush(F) around Gibeah.
