The Angel of Yahweh Speaks to Israel

2 Then ^(A)the angel of Yahweh came up from Gilgal to ^(B)Bochim. And he said, “^(C)I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land which I have sworn to your fathers; and I said, ‘^(D)I will never break My covenant with you,

¹⁴ Then Yahweh turned to him and said, “^(A)Go in this strength of yours and save Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you?”

^3 (A)Then the angel of Yahweh appeared to the woman and said to her, “Behold now, you are barren and have borne no children, but you ^[a]shall be with child and give birth to a son.
