¹¹ And it happened, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.

^29 (A)He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but ^(B)the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.

¹⁵ And Jesus said to them, “Can ^(A)the ^[a]friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and ^(B)then they will fast.

⁶ So it was, when they came, that he looked at ^(A)Eliab and ^(B)said, “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him!”

²³ So they ran and brought him from there; and when he stood among the people, ^(A)he was taller than any of the people from his shoulders upward.
