5 Now I want to (A)remind you, though (B)you know all things, that [a]Jesus, (C)having once saved a people out of the land of Egypt, [b]subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And (D)angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has (E)kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day, 7 just as (F)Sodom and Gomorrah and the (G)cities around them, having indulged in the same way as these in gross sexual immorality and having (H)gone after [c]strange flesh, are exhibited as an [d](I)example in undergoing the (J)punishment of eternal fire.

5 Now I desire to remind you, though you were once for all fully informed, that he[a] who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels that did not keep their own position but left their proper dwelling have been kept by him in eternal chains in the nether gloom until the judgment of the great day; 7 just as Sodom and Gomor′rah and the surrounding cities, which likewise acted immorally and indulged in unnatural lust, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.
