14 (A)Да не се смущава сърцето ви; вие вярвате в Бога, вярвайте и в Мене.
2 (B)В дома на Моя Отец има много обиталища; ако не беше така, Аз щях да ви кажа, защото отивам да ви приготвя място.
3 (C)И като отида и ви приготвя място, пак ще дойда и ще ви взема при Себе Си, така че където съм Аз, да бъдете и вие.
4 И вие знаете къде отивам и пътя знаете.
5 Тома Му каза: Господи, не знаем къде отиваш; а как можем да знаем пътя?
6 (D)Исус му каза: Аз съм пътят и истината, и животът; никой не идва при Отца освен чрез Мен.
7 (E)Ако познавахте Мене, бихте познали и Моя Отец. Отсега нататък Го познавате и сте Го видели.
8 Филип Му каза: Господи, покажи ни Отца и това ни е достатъчно.
9 (F)Исус му каза: Толкова време съм с вас и не си ли Ме познал, Филипе? Който е видял Мене, видял е Отца. Как така казваш: Покажи ми Отца?
10 (G)Не вярваш ли, че Аз съм в Отца и че Отец е в Мене? Думите, които Аз ви казвам, не ги говоря от Себе Си; но Отец, който пребъдва в Мене, върши Своите дела.
11 (H)Вярвайте Ми, че Аз съм в Отца и че Отец е в Мен; или пък Ми вярвайте поради самите дела.
12 (I)Истина, истина ви казвам, който вярва в Мене, делата, които върша Аз, и той ще ги върши, и по-големи от тях ще върши; защото Аз отивам при Отца.
13 (J)И каквото и да поискате в Мое име, ще го направя, за да се прослави Отец в Сина.
14 Ако поискате нещо в Мое име, ще го направя.
Обещание за изпращане на Святия Дух
15 (K)Ако Ме обичате, ще пазите Моите заповеди.
16 (L)И Аз ще поискам от Отца и Той ще ви даде друг Утешител[a], за да бъде с вас вовеки –
17 (M)Духа на истината, Когото светът не може да приеме, защото не Го вижда, нито Го познава. Вие Го познавате, защото Той пребъдва с вас и във вас ще бъде.
18 (N)Няма да ви оставя сираци; ще дойда при вас.
19 (O)Още малко и светът вече няма да Ме вижда, а вие Ме виждате. Понеже Аз живея, и вие ще живеете.
20 (P)В онзи ден ще познаете, че Аз съм в Своя Отец, и вие в Мен, и Аз във вас.
21 (Q)Който има Моите заповеди и ги пази, той Ме обича; а който Ме обича, ще бъде възлюбен от Моя Отец и Аз ще го възлюбя, и ще му се явя лично.
22 (R)Юда (не Искариотски) Му каза: Господи, защо ще се явиш на нас, а не на света?
23 (S)Исус му отговори: Ако Ме обича някой, ще пази учението Ми; и Отец Ми ще го възлюби и Ние ще дойдем при него, и ще направим обиталище у него.
24 (T)Който не Ме обича, не пази думите Ми. Учението, което слушате, не е Мое, а на Отца, Който Ме е изпратил.
25 Тези неща ви казах, докато още съм с вас.
26 (U)А Утешителят, Святият Дух, Когото Отец ще изпрати в Мое име, Той ще ви научи на всичко и ще ви напомни всичко, което съм ви казал.
27 (V)Мир ви оставям. Моя мир ви давам. Аз не ви давам, както светът дава. Да не се смущава сърцето ви, нито да се бои.
28 (W)Чухте, че ви казах: Отивам си и отново ще дойда при вас. Ако Ме обичахте, бихте се зарадвали за това, че отивам при Отца; защото Отец е по-голям от Мен.
29 (X)И сега ви казах това, преди да е станало, така че когато стане, да повярвате.
30 (Y)Аз няма още много да говоря с вас, защото иде князът на този свят. Той няма нищо свое в Мене.
31 (Z)Но това става, за да познае светът, че Аз обичам Отца и че както Ми е заповядал Отец, така правя. Станете, да си отидем оттук.

14 »No se turbe su corazón(A) ; crean[a] en Dios, crean también en Mí. 2 En la casa de Mi Padre hay muchas moradas; si no fuera así, se lo hubiera dicho; porque voy a preparar un lugar para ustedes(B). 3 Y si me voy y les preparo un lugar, vendré otra vez(C)y los tomaré adonde Yo voy; para que donde Yo esté, allí estén ustedes también(D). 4 Y conocen el camino adonde voy[b]».
5 «Señor, si no sabemos adónde vas, ¿cómo vamos a[c] conocer el camino?», le dijo* Tomás(E). 6 Jesús le dijo*: «Yo soy el camino(F), la verdad(G)y la vida(H); nadie viene al Padre sino por Mí. 7 Si ustedes me hubieran conocido, también hubieran conocido a Mi Padre(I); desde ahora lo conocen(J)y lo han visto(K)».
8 «Señor, muéstranos al Padre y nos basta», le dijo* Felipe(L). 9 Jesús le dijo*: «¿Tanto tiempo he estado con ustedes, y todavía no me conoces, Felipe? El que me ha visto a Mí, ha visto al Padre(M). ¿Cómo dices tú: “Muéstranos al Padre”? 10 ¿No crees que Yo estoy en el Padre y el Padre en Mí(N)? Las palabras que Yo les digo, no las hablo por Mi propia cuenta, sino que el Padre que mora en Mí es el que hace las[d]obras(O). 11 Créanme que Yo estoy en el Padre(P)y el Padre en Mí; y si no, crean por las obras mismas(Q).
12 »En verdad les digo: el que cree en Mí, las obras que Yo hago, él las hará también; y aun mayores que estas(R) hará, porque Yo voy al Padre(S) . 13 Y todo lo que pidan en Mi nombre, lo haré(T), para que el Padre sea glorificado en el Hijo(U). 14 Si me piden algo en Mi nombre, Yo lo haré(V).
La promesa del Espíritu Santo
15 »Si ustedes me aman, guardarán Mis mandamientos(W) . 16 Entonces Yo rogaré al Padre, y Él les dará otro Consolador[e](X)para que esté con ustedes para siempre; 17 es decir, el Espíritu de verdad(Y), a quien el mundo no puede recibir(Z), porque ni lo ve ni lo conoce, pero ustedes sí lo conocen porque mora con ustedes y estará en ustedes. 18 No los dejaré huérfanos; vendré a ustedes(AA).
19 »Un poco más de tiempo[f](AB) y el mundo no me verá más, pero ustedes me verán(AC) ; porque Yo vivo, ustedes también vivirán(AD) . 20 En ese día(AE)conocerán que Yo estoy en Mi Padre(AF), y ustedes en Mí y Yo en ustedes. 21 El que tiene Mis mandamientos y los guarda, ese es el que me ama(AG); y el que me ama será amado por Mi Padre(AH); y Yo lo amaré y me manifestaré a él(AI)».
22 Judas(AJ) (no el Iscariote) le dijo*: «Señor, ¿y qué ha pasado que te vas a manifestar a nosotros y no al mundo(AK)?». 23 Jesús le respondió: «Si alguien me ama, guardará Mi palabra(AL); y Mi Padre lo amará(AM), y vendremos a él, y haremos con él morada(AN). 24 El que no me ama, no guarda Mis palabras(AO); y la palabra que ustedes oyen no es Mía, sino del Padre que me envió(AP).
25 »Estas cosas les he dicho estando con ustedes. 26 Pero el Consolador[g](AQ), el Espíritu Santo, a quien el Padre enviará en Mi nombre(AR), Él les enseñará todas las cosas(AS), y les recordará todo lo que les he dicho(AT).
La paz de Cristo
27 »La paz les dejo, Mi paz les doy(AU) ; no se la doy a ustedes como el mundo la da. No se turbe su corazón(AV) ni tenga miedo. 28 Oyeron que les dije: “Me voy, y vendré a ustedes(AW)”. Si me amaran, se regocijarían, porque voy al Padre(AX), ya que el Padre es mayor que Yo(AY).
29 »Y se lo he dicho ahora, antes que suceda, para que cuando suceda, crean(AZ) . 30 No hablaré mucho más con ustedes, porque viene el príncipe[h]de este mundo(BA), y él no tiene nada en Mí; 31 pero para que el mundo sepa que Yo amo al Padre, y como el Padre me mandó(BB), así hago. Levántense, vámonos de aquí(BC).

The Way, the Truth, and the Life
14 “Let (A)not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many [a]mansions; if it were not so, [b]I would have told you. (B)I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, (C)I will come again and receive you to Myself; that (D)where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
5 (E)Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus said to him, “I am (F)the way, (G)the truth, and (H)the life. (I)No one comes to the Father (J)except through Me.
The Father Revealed
7 (K)“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? (L)He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that (M)I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you (N)I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, (O)or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
The Answered Prayer
12 (P)“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 (Q)And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be (R)glorified in the Son. 14 If you [c]ask anything in My name, I will do it.
Jesus Promises Another Helper
15 (S)“If you love Me, [d]keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and (T)He will give you another [e]Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 (U)the Spirit of truth, (V)whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you (W)and will be in you. 18 (X)I will not leave you orphans; (Y)I will come to you.
Indwelling of the Father and the Son
19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but (Z)you will see Me. (AA)Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that (AB)I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 (AC)He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and [f]manifest Myself to him.”
22 (AD)Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”
23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, (AE)and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and (AF)the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.
The Gift of His Peace
25 “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But (AG)the [g]Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will (AH)send in My name, (AI)He will teach you all things, and bring to your (AJ)remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 (AK)Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 You have heard Me (AL)say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because [h]I said, (AM)‘I am going to the Father,’ for (AN)My Father is greater than I.
29 “And (AO)now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe. 30 I will no longer talk much with you, (AP)for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has (AQ)nothing in Me. 31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, and (AR)as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.
