Ang Pagkamatay ni Lazarus
11 1-2 May isang lalaki na ang pangalan ay Lazarus. Siya at ang mga kapatid niyang sina Maria at Marta ay nakatira sa Betania. Si Maria ang nagbuhos ng pabango sa paa ng Panginoon at pagkatapos ay pinunasan niya ng kanyang buhok. Nagkasakit si Lazarus, 3 kaya nagpasabi ang magkapatid na babae kay Jesus na may sakit ang minamahal niyang kaibigan.

11 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.

The Death of Lazarus
11 Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany,(A) the village of Mary and her sister Martha.(B) 2 (This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair.)(C) 3 So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love(D) is sick.”
