The Kings Conquered by Moses(A)

12 These are the kings of the land whom the children of Israel defeated, and whose land they possessed on the other side of the Jordan toward the rising of the sun, (B)from the River Arnon (C)to Mount Hermon, and all the eastern Jordan plain: One king was (D)Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon and ruled half of Gilead, from Aroer, which is on the bank of the River Arnon, from the middle of that river, even as far as the River Jabbok, which is the border of the Ammonites, and (E)the eastern Jordan plain from the [a]Sea of Chinneroth as far as the [b]Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), (F)the road to Beth Jeshimoth, and [c]southward below (G)the[d] slopes of Pisgah. The other king was (H)Og king of Bashan and his territory, who was of (I)the remnant of the giants, (J)who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei, and reigned over (K)Mount Hermon, (L)over Salcah, over all Bashan, (M)as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and over half of Gilead to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

(N)These Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel had conquered; and (O)Moses the servant of the Lord had given it as a possession to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh.

Kraljevi koje je porazio Mojsije

Vladao je i nad polovicom zemlje Gileada i nad istočnim dijelom Jordanske doline, od Galilejskog jezera do Mrtvog mora. Vlast mu se protezala i od Bet Ješimota do obronaka planine Pisge na jugu.

Pobijedili su i Oga, kralja Bašana. On je bio jedan od zadnjih Refaimaca, a vladao je u Aštarotu i Edreju. Og je imao vlast nad planinom Hermon, gradom Salkom i cijelim Bašanom. Zemlja mu se protezala sve do zemlje Gešuraca i Maakadovaca. Og je vladao i nad drugom polovicom Gileada, sve do granice Hešbona, gdje je kralj bio Sihon.

BOŽJI sluga Mojsije i Izraelci pobijedili su sve te kraljeve. Potom je Mojsije dao njihovu zemlju Rubenovom i Gadovom plemenu te polovini Manašeovog plemena.

Kraljevi koje je porazio Jošua

Jošua i Izraelci porazili su brojne kraljeve na zapadnoj strani rijeke Jordan. Ta se zemlja prostirala zapadno od Baal Gada u Libanonskoj dolini, sve do brda Halak, što se uzdiže nasuprot Seiru. Jošua ju je raspodijelio Izraelovim plemenima i svakome dao dio u nasljedstvo. kraljevi Jerihona, Aja (blizu Betela), 10 Jeruzalema, Hebrona, 11 Jarmuta, Lakiša, 12 Eglona, Gezera, 13 Debira, Gedera, 14 Horme, Arada, 15 Libne, Adulama, 16 Makede, Betela, 17 Tapuaha, Hefera, 18 Afeka, Šarona, 19 Madona, Hasora, 20 Šimron Merona, Akšafa, 21 Taanaka, Megidoa, 22 Kedeša, Jokneama na Karmelu, 23 Dora na brdu Dor, Gojima u Gilgalu i 24 Tirse. Ukupno je pobijeđen trideset i jedan kralj.

12 (A)Estos son los reyes de la tierra a quienes los israelitas derrotaron[a], y cuya tierra poseyeron al otro lado del Jordán, hacia el oriente, desde el valle[b] del Arnón hasta el monte Hermón, y todo el Arabá hacia el oriente[c]:

Sehón, rey de los amorreos, que habitaba en Hesbón y gobernaba desde Aroer, que está al borde del valle[d] del Arnón, el medio del valle y la mitad de Galaad(B), y hasta el arroyo de Jaboc, frontera de los amonitas; y el Arabá hasta el mar de Cineret[e](C) hacia el oriente, y hasta el mar de Arabá, el mar Salado, al oriente hacia[f] Bet Jesimot, y al sur, al pie[g] de las laderas del Pisga(D); y el territorio de Og, rey de Basán, uno de los que quedaba de los refaítas(E), que habitaba en Astarot y en Edrei(F), y que gobernaba en el monte Hermón, en Salca y en todo Basán(G), hasta las fronteras del Gesureo y del maacateo(H), y la mitad de Galaad, hasta la frontera de Sehón, rey de Hesbón.
