The Kings Conquered by Moses(A)

12 These are the kings of the land whom the children of Israel defeated, and whose land they possessed on the other side of the Jordan toward the rising of the sun, (B)from the River Arnon (C)to Mount Hermon, and all the eastern Jordan plain: 2 One king was (D)Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon and ruled half of Gilead, from Aroer, which is on the bank of the River Arnon, from the middle of that river, even as far as the River Jabbok, which is the border of the Ammonites, 3 and (E)the eastern Jordan plain from the [a]Sea of Chinneroth as far as the [b]Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), (F)the road to Beth Jeshimoth, and [c]southward below (G)the[d] slopes of Pisgah. 4 The other king was (H)Og king of Bashan and his territory, who was of (I)the remnant of the giants, (J)who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei, 5 and reigned over (K)Mount Hermon, (L)over Salcah, over all Bashan, (M)as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and over half of Gilead to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

6 (N)These Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel had conquered; and (O)Moses the servant of the Lord had given it as a possession to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh.

7 And these are the kings of the country (P)which Joshua and the children of Israel conquered on this side of the Jordan, on the west, from Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon as far as [e]Mount Halak and the ascent to (Q)Seir, which Joshua (R)gave to the tribes of Israel as a possession according to their divisions, 8 (S)in the mountain country, in the lowlands, in the Jordan plain, in the slopes, in the wilderness, and in the South—(T)the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: 9 (U)the king of Jericho, one; (V)the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one; 10 (W)the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one; 11 the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one; 12 the king of Eglon, one; (X)the king of Gezer, one; 13 (Y)the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one; 14 the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one; 15 (Z)the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one; 16 (AA)the king of Makkedah, one; (AB)the king of Bethel, one; 17 the king of Tappuah, one; (AC)the king of Hepher, one; 18 the king of Aphek, one; the king of [f]Lasharon, one; 19 the king of Madon, one; (AD)the king of Hazor, one; 20 the king of (AE)Shimron Meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one; 21 the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one; 22 (AF)the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one; 23 the king of Dor in the (AG)heights of Dor, one; the king of (AH)the people of Gilgal, one; 24 the king of Tirzah, one—(AI)all the kings, thirty-one.

Kraljevi koje je porazio Mojsije

12 Izraelci su najprije zauzeli zemlju s istočne strane rijeke Jordan. Njihovom je postala sva zemlja od klanca Arnon do brda Hermon, uključujući istočni dio Jordanske doline. Ovo su kraljevi koje su Izraelci pobijedili:

2 Pobijedili su Sihona, kralja Amorejaca, koji je bio u Hešbonu i vladao zemljom od Aroera na rubu klanca Arnona do potoka Jaboka. Zemlja mu je sezala do sredine klanca, gdje je bila granica Amonaca. Vladao je i nad polovicom zemlje Gileada 3 i nad istočnim dijelom Jordanske doline, od Galilejskog jezera do Mrtvog mora. Vlast mu se protezala i od Bet Ješimota do obronaka planine Pisge na jugu.

4 Pobijedili su i Oga, kralja Bašana. On je bio jedan od zadnjih Refaimaca, a vladao je u Aštarotu i Edreju. 5 Og je imao vlast nad planinom Hermon, gradom Salkom i cijelim Bašanom. Zemlja mu se protezala sve do zemlje Gešuraca i Maakadovaca. Og je vladao i nad drugom polovicom Gileada, sve do granice Hešbona, gdje je kralj bio Sihon.

6 BOŽJI sluga Mojsije i Izraelci pobijedili su sve te kraljeve. Potom je Mojsije dao njihovu zemlju Rubenovom i Gadovom plemenu te polovini Manašeovog plemena.

Kraljevi koje je porazio Jošua

7 Jošua i Izraelci porazili su brojne kraljeve na zapadnoj strani rijeke Jordan. Ta se zemlja prostirala zapadno od Baal Gada u Libanonskoj dolini, sve do brda Halak, što se uzdiže nasuprot Seiru. Jošua ju je raspodijelio Izraelovim plemenima i svakome dao dio u nasljedstvo. 8 Bio je to gorski kraj, zapadni obronci, Jordanska dolina, istočne planine, pustinja i Negev, zemlje koje su pripadale Hetitima, Amorejcima, Kanaancima, Perižanima, Hivijcima i Jebusejcima. Ovo su kraljevi koje su pobijedili Izraelci:

9 kraljevi Jerihona, Aja (blizu Betela), 10 Jeruzalema, Hebrona, 11 Jarmuta, Lakiša, 12 Eglona, Gezera, 13 Debira, Gedera, 14 Horme, Arada, 15 Libne, Adulama, 16 Makede, Betela, 17 Tapuaha, Hefera, 18 Afeka, Šarona, 19 Madona, Hasora, 20 Šimron Merona, Akšafa, 21 Taanaka, Megidoa, 22 Kedeša, Jokneama na Karmelu, 23 Dora na brdu Dor, Gojima u Gilgalu i 24 Tirse. Ukupno je pobijeđen trideset i jedan kralj.

12 (A)Estos son los reyes de la tierra a quienes los israelitas derrotaron[a], y cuya tierra poseyeron al otro lado del Jordán, hacia el oriente, desde el valle[b] del Arnón hasta el monte Hermón, y todo el Arabá hacia el oriente[c]:

2 Sehón, rey de los amorreos, que habitaba en Hesbón y gobernaba desde Aroer, que está al borde del valle[d] del Arnón, el medio del valle y la mitad de Galaad(B), y hasta el arroyo de Jaboc, frontera de los amonitas; 3 y el Arabá hasta el mar de Cineret[e](C) hacia el oriente, y hasta el mar de Arabá, el mar Salado, al oriente hacia[f] Bet Jesimot, y al sur, al pie[g] de las laderas del Pisga(D); 4 y el territorio de Og, rey de Basán, uno de los que quedaba de los refaítas(E), que habitaba en Astarot y en Edrei(F), 5 y que gobernaba en el monte Hermón, en Salca y en todo Basán(G), hasta las fronteras del Gesureo y del maacateo(H), y la mitad de Galaad, hasta la frontera de Sehón, rey de Hesbón.

6 A estos Moisés, siervo del Señor, y los israelitas los derrotaron[h]; y Moisés, siervo del Señor, dio su tierra[i] en posesión a los rubenitas, a los gaditas y a la media tribu de Manasés(I).

7 Estos son los reyes de la tierra que Josué y los israelitas derrotaron[j] al otro lado del Jordán, hacia el occidente, desde Baal Gad en el valle del Líbano hasta el monte Halac que se levanta hacia Seir(J). Josué dio la tierra[k] de estos reyes en posesión a las tribus de Israel según sus divisiones, 8 en la región montañosa, en las tierras bajas, en el Arabá, en las laderas, en el desierto y en el Neguev[l](K); de los hititas, amorreos, cananeos, ferezeos, heveos y jebuseos: 9 el rey de Jericó(L), uno; el rey de Hai(M), que está al lado de Betel[m], uno; 10 (N)el rey de Jerusalén, uno; el rey de Hebrón, uno; 11 el rey de Jarmut, uno; el rey de Laquis, uno; 12 el rey de Eglón, uno; el rey de Gezer, uno; 13 el rey de Debir, uno; el rey de Geder, uno; 14 el rey de Horma, uno; el rey de Arad(O), uno; 15 el rey de Libna, uno; el rey de Adulam, uno; 16 el rey de Maceda, uno; el rey de Betel[n], uno; 17 el rey de Tapúa, uno; el rey de Hefer(P), uno; 18 el rey de Afec(Q), uno; el rey de Sarón, uno; 19 el rey de Madón, uno; el rey de Hazor, uno; 20 el rey de Simrón Merón, uno; el rey de Acsaf, uno; 21 el rey de Taanac, uno; el rey de Meguido, uno; 22 el rey de Cedes(R), uno; el rey de Jocneam del Carmelo, uno; 23 el rey de Dor, en las alturas de Dor[o], uno; el rey de Goyim(S) en Gilgal, uno; 24 el rey de Tirsa, uno.
