Joshua Installed as Leader
1 After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord,(A) the Lord said to Joshua(B) son of Nun, Moses’ aide:

9 Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit[a] of wisdom(A) because Moses had laid his hands on him.(B) So the Israelites listened to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses.
