¹² Now then, please swear to me by the Lord, since I have dealt kindly with you, that you also will deal kindly with my father’s household, and give me a ^(A)pledge of ^[a]truth,

²¹ So now ^(A)swear to me by the Lord that you will not cut off my ^[a]descendants after me, and that you will not eliminate my name from my father’s household.”
