⁵ And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons?

¹⁰ Then the king of Israel said, “Alas! ^(A)The Lord has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab.”

¹⁷ And ^(A)Jesus, aware of this, said to them, “Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? ^(B)Do you not yet perceive ^(C)or understand? ^(D)Are your hearts hardened? ^18 (E)Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember?

²⁰ He said to them, ^(A)“Because of your little faith. For ^(B)truly, I say to you, ^(C)if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, ^(D)you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and ^(E)nothing will be impossible for you.”^[a]

¹⁷ And Jesus answered, “O faithless and ^(A)twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? ^(B)How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.”

Jeremiah's Complaint

² “Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel. ^3 (A)Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses. ^4 (B)From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun shall be your territory.
