Twelve Memorial Stones from the Jordan

4 When all the nation had finished passing ^(A)over the Jordan, the Lord said to Joshua,

² And on the day ^(A)you cross over the Jordan to the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall set up large stones and plaster them with plaster.

¹⁷ Now the priests bearing the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firmly on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan, ^(A)and all Israel was passing over on dry ground until all the nation finished passing over the Jordan.
