15 Kaya binuhat nila si Jonas at inihagis sa nagngangalit na dagat, at kumalma nga ito. 16 Dahil sa pangyayaring ito, nagkaroon ng malaking paggalang ang mga tao sa Panginoon. Kaya naghandog sila at nangakong ipagpapatuloy ang paglilingkod at paghahandog sa kanya.
17 Samantala, nagpadala ang Panginoon ng isang malaking isda para lunukin si Jonas. Tatlong araw at tatlong gabi siya sa tiyan ng isda.

15 Kaya't kanilang binuhat si Jonas at inihagis siya sa dagat; at ang dagat ay tumigil sa pagngangalit nito.
16 Nang magkagayo'y lubhang natakot ang mga tao sa Panginoon; at sila'y naghandog ng isang alay sa Panginoon at gumawa ng mga panata.
17 At(A) naghanda ang Panginoon ng isang malaking isda upang lunukin si Jonas; at si Jonas ay nasa tiyan ng isda sa loob ng tatlong araw at tatlong gabi.

15 Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm.(A) 16 At this the men greatly feared(B) the Lord, and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows(C) to him.

17 Now the Lord provided(D) a huge fish to swallow Jonah,(E) and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
