¹⁶ Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly, ^(A)and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord ^(B)and made vows.

God's Covenant with Noah

²⁰ Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

¹¹ And ^(A)great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things.

³¹ It is like ^(A)a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown on the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth,

¹⁰ Then the men were exceedingly afraid and said to him, “What is this that you have done!” For the men knew that ^(A)he was fleeing from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them.

^26 (A)I make a decree, that in all my royal dominion ^(B)people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel,

Nebuchadnezzar Restored

^34 (A)At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and ^(B)my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored ^(C)him who lives forever,

³⁶ At the same time ^(J)my reason returned to me, and for ^(K)the glory of my kingdom, ^(L)my majesty and splendor returned to me. ^(M)My counselors and ^(N)my lords sought me, and I was established in my kingdom, and still more greatness was ^(O)added to me. ³⁷ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, ^(P)praise and extol and honor the ^(Q)King of heaven, ^(R)for all his works are right and his ways are just; and ^(S)those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
