Peter Confesses Jesus Is the Christ
66 As a result of this many of His (A)disciples [a](B)went away and were not walking with Him anymore. 67 So Jesus said to (C)the twelve, “Do you also want to go?” 68 (D)Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have (E)words of eternal life. 69 And we have believed and have come to know that You are (F)the Holy One of God.” 70 Jesus answered them, “(G)Did I Myself not choose you, (H)the twelve, and yet one of you is (I)a devil?” 71 Now He was speaking of Judas (J)the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, (K)one of (L)the twelve, [b]was going to betray Him.

66 After this, many of his disciples turned back and were not walking with him anymore. 67 So Jesus asked the Twelve, “You do not want to leave too, do you?”
68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom will we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.”[a]
70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!” 71 He meant Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, one of the Twelve, because Judas was going to betray Jesus.
