^54 (A)Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

³⁹ This is the will of the Father who sent Me, ^(A)that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. ⁴⁰ And this is the will of Him who sent Me, ^(B)that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

⁷ But ^(A)what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. ⁸ Yet indeed I also count all things loss ^(B)for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ ⁹ and be found in Him, not having ^(C)my own righteousness, which is from the law, but ^(D)that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; ¹⁰ that I may know Him and the ^(E)power of His resurrection, and ^(F)the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

²⁰ I have been ^(A)crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh ^(B)I live by faith in the Son of God, ^(C)who loved me and gave Himself for me.

^63 (A)It is the Spirit who gives life; the ^(B)flesh profits nothing. The ^(C)words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

⁴⁷ Most assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)he who believes ^[a]in Me has everlasting life.

^27 (A)Do not labor for the food which perishes, but ^(B)for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, ^(C)because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

¹⁴ but ^(A)whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him ^(B)will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
