³⁶ But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. ^37 (A)All that ^(B)the Father gives me will come to me, and ^(C)whoever comes to me I will never cast out. ³⁸ For ^(D)I have come down from heaven, not to do ^(E)my own will but ^(F)the will of him ^(G)who sent me. ³⁹ And ^(H)this is the will of him who sent me, ^(I)that I should lose nothing of ^(J)all that he has given me, but ^(K)raise it up on the last day.

¹¹ In him we have obtained ^(A)an inheritance, ^(B)having been predestined ^(C)according to the purpose of him who works all things according to ^(D)the counsel of his will, ¹² so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be ^(E)to the praise of his glory. ¹³ In him you also, when you heard ^(F)the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, ^(G)were sealed with the ^(H)promised Holy Spirit, ¹⁴ who is ^(I)the guarantee^[a] of our ^(J)inheritance until ^(K)we acquire ^(L)possession of it,^{[b] (M)}to the praise of his glory.

⁵ Listen, my beloved brothers, ^(A)has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be ^(B)rich in faith and heirs of ^(C)the kingdom, ^(D)which he has promised to those who love him?
