^29 (A)He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but ^(B)the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.

^25 (A)Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and ^(B)gave Himself for her, ²⁶ that He might ^[a]sanctify and cleanse her ^(C)with the washing of water ^(D)by the word, ^27 (E)that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, ^(F)not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

¹⁵ And Jesus said to them, “Can ^(A)the ^[a]friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and ^(B)then they will fast.

⁸ “When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; ^(A)so I spread ^[a]My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I ^(B)swore an oath to you and entered into a ^(C)covenant with you, and ^(D)you became Mine,” says the Lord God.

The New Jerusalem^(A)

⁹ Then one of ^(B)the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came ^[a]to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you ^(C)the ^[b]bride, the Lamb’s wife.”

⁷ Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for ^(A)the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” ⁸ And ^(B)to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, ^(C)for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

⁹ Then he said to me, “Write: ^(D)‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, ^(E)“These are the true sayings of God.”

^2 (A)fulfill my joy ^(B)by being like-minded, having the same love, being of ^(C)one accord, of one mind.
