¹⁷ For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

³⁴ ‘My food,’ said Jesus, ‘is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

³⁸ For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.

⁴⁹ For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken.
