²⁷ Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and ^(A)reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be ^(B)unbelieving, but believing.”

²⁵ The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”

So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

1 That ^(B)which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have ^(C)seen with our eyes, ^(D)which we have looked upon, and ^(E)our hands have handled, concerning the ^(F)Word of life— ^2 (G)the life ^(H)was manifested, and we have seen, ^(I)and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was ^(J)with the Father and was manifested to us—

²⁰ When He had said this, He ^(A)showed them His hands and His side. ^(B)Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

^14 (A)And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, ^(B)with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. ^15 (C)This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that ^(D)Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. ¹⁶ However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.
