Jesus Prays for His Disciples

^6 (A)“I have ^[a]manifested Your name to the men ^(B)whom You have given Me out of the world. ^(C)They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

²⁰ And we know that the ^(A)Son of God has come and ^(B)has given us an understanding, ^(C)that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. ^(D)This is the true God ^(E)and eternal life.

^26 (A)And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love ^(B)with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

^21 (A)He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and ^[a]manifest Myself to him.”

^22 (B)Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”

²³ Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, ^(C)and We will come to him and make Our home with him. ²⁴ He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and ^(D)the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

^24 (A)“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; ^(B)for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

^2 (A)as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He ^[a]should give eternal life to as many ^(B)as You have given Him.

^37 (A)All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and ^(B)the one who comes to Me I will ^[a]by no means cast out.

⁵ Now the Lord descended in the ^(A)cloud and stood with him there, and ^(B)proclaimed the name of the Lord. ⁶ And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord ^(C)God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in ^(D)goodness and ^(E)truth, ^7 (F)keeping mercy for thousands, ^(G)forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, ^(H)by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”

¹³ Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

¹⁴ And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ^(A)‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” ¹⁵ Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is ^(B)My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’
