^21 (A)that they all may be one, as ^(B)You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Unity and Diversity in One Body^(A)

¹² For ^(B)as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, ^(C)so also is Christ.

¹¹ where there is neither ^(A)Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, ^(B)but Christ is all and in all.

Character of the New Man

¹² Therefore, ^(C)as the elect of God, holy and beloved, ^(D)put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; ^13 (E)bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. ^14 (F)But above all these things ^(G)put on love, which is the ^(H)bond of perfection.

^11 (A)Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, ^(B)keep^[a] through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one ^(C)as We are.

Striving and Suffering for Christ

²⁷ Only ^(A)let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, ^(B)with one mind ^(C)striving together for the faith of the gospel,

²⁵ that there should be no ^[a]schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. ²⁶ And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

²⁷ Now ^(A)you are the body of Christ, and ^(B)members individually.

^35 (A)By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

²² And the ^(A)glory which You gave Me I have given them, ^(B)that they may be one just as We are one: ²³ I in them, and You in Me; ^(C)that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Unity Through Humility

2 Therefore if there is any ^[a]consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any ^(A)affection and mercy, ^2 (B)fulfill my joy ^(C)by being like-minded, having the same love, being of ^(D)one accord, of one mind. ^3 (E)Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but ^(F)in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. ^4 (G)Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of ^(H)others.

The Humbled and Exalted Christ

^5 (I)Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, ⁶ who, ^(J)being in the form of God, did not consider it ^[b]robbery to be equal with God,
