¹³ When ^(A)the Spirit of truth comes, ^(B)he will ^(C)guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but ^(D)whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

⁴ And out came another horse, ^(A)bright red. Its rider was permitted ^(B)to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.

⁸ And I looked, and behold, ^(A)a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill ^(B)with sword and with famine and with pestilence and ^(C)by wild beasts of the earth.

⁹ When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under ^(D)the altar ^(E)the souls of those who had been slain ^(F)for the word of God and for ^(G)the witness they had borne. ¹⁰ They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, ^(H)holy and true, ^(I)how long ^(J)before you will judge and ^(K)avenge our blood on ^(L)those who dwell on the earth?” ¹¹ Then they were each given ^(M)a white robe and ^(N)told to rest a little longer, ^(O)until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers^{[a] (P)}should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.
