And they came, not because of Jesus only, but that they might also see Lazarus, (B)whom He raised from the dead. 10 But the chief priests planned to put Lazarus to death also; 11 because (C)on account of him (D)many of the Jews were going away and were believing in Jesus.

9 When all the people[a] heard of Jesus’ arrival, they flocked to see him and also to see Lazarus, the man Jesus had raised from the dead. 10 Then the leading priests decided to kill Lazarus, too, 11 for it was because of him that many of the people had deserted them[b] and believed in Jesus.
