^17 (A)The crowd that had been with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to bear witness.

^9 (A)If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God ^(B)that he has borne concerning his Son. ¹⁰ Whoever believes in the Son of God ^(C)has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God ^(D)has made him a liar, ^(E)because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. ¹¹ And this is the testimony, that God gave us ^(F)eternal life, and ^(G)this life is in his Son. ^12 (H)Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

³² And ^(A)we are witnesses to these things, and ^(B)so is the Holy Spirit, ^(C)whom God has given to those who obey him.”

^22 (A)beginning from the baptism of John until the day when ^(B)he was taken up from us—one of these men must become with us ^(C)a witness to his resurrection.”

^35 (A)He who saw it has borne witness—^(B)his testimony is true, and he knows that he is telling the truth—^(C)that you also may believe.

The Plot to Kill Lazarus

⁹ When the large crowd of the Jews learned that Jesus^[a] was there, they came, not only on account of him but also to see Lazarus, ^(A)whom he had raised from the dead.

²⁴ This is the disciple ^(A)who is bearing witness about these things, and who has written these things, and ^(B)we know ^(C)that his testimony is true.

²⁶ “But ^(A)when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, ^(B)he will bear witness about me. ²⁷ And ^(C)you also will bear witness, ^(D)because you have been with me ^(E)from the beginning.
