²⁶ And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

¹³ For ^(A)if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you ^(B)put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

¹⁰ He who believes in the Son of God ^(A)has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God ^(B)has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. ¹¹ And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. ^12 (C)He who has the Son has ^[a]life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

²⁸ And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

Life and Judgment Are Through the Son

²⁴ “Most assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, ^(B)but has passed from death into life.

⁵¹ Most assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”

⁵² Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You ^(B)have a demon! ^(C)Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.’ ⁵³ Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. ^(D)Who do You make Yourself out to be?”

^54 (A)Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. ⁵⁵ For My flesh is ^[a]food indeed, and My blood is ^[b]drink indeed. ⁵⁶ He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood ^(B)abides in Me, and I in him. ⁵⁷ As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. ^58 (C)This is the bread which came down from heaven—not ^(D)as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

¹⁵ that whoever ^(A)believes in Him should ^[a]not perish but ^(B)have eternal life. ^16 (C)For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten ^(D)Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ^17 (E)For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

^18 (F)“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

¹⁰ Do you not believe that ^(A)I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you ^(B)I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
