¹⁰ The thief comes only to steal and ^(A)kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

¹⁰ For ^(A)the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

⁵¹ I am the living bread ^(A)that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give ^(B)for the life of the world is ^(C)my flesh.”

⁴⁷ If anyone ^(A)hears my words and does not keep them, ^(B)I do not judge him; for ^(C)I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.

¹⁷ For ^(A)God did not send his Son into the world ^(B)to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

³³ For the bread of God is ^(A)he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

10 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber.

¹³ for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but ^(A)sin is not counted where there is no law. ¹⁴ Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not ^(B)like the transgression of Adam, ^(C)who was a type of ^(D)the one who was to come.

¹⁵ But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for ^(E)many. ¹⁶ And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For ^(F)the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought ^(G)justification. ¹⁷ For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness ^(H)reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

¹⁸ Therefore, as one trespass^[a] led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness^[b] leads to justification and life for ^(I)all men. ¹⁹ For as by the one man's ^(J)disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's ^(K)obedience the many will be made righteous. ²⁰ Now ^(L)the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, ^(M)grace abounded all the more, ²¹ so that, ^(N)as sin reigned in death, ^(O)grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

^2 (A)“Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord God: ^(B)Ah, shepherds of Israel ^(C)who have been feeding yourselves! ^(D)Should not shepherds feed the sheep? ^3 (E)You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, ^(F)you slaughter the fat ones, but you do not feed the sheep. ^4 (G)The weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, ^(H)the injured you have not bound up, ^(I)the strayed you have not brought back, ^(J)the lost you have not sought, and with force and ^(K)harshness you have ruled them.
