²⁵ Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. ^(A)The works that I do ^(B)in my Father's name bear witness about me, ²⁶ but ^(C)you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. ^27 (D)My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. ^28 (E)I give them eternal life, and ^(F)they will never perish, and ^(G)no one will snatch them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father, ^(H)who has given them to me,^{[a] (I)}is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of ^(J)the Father's hand. ^30 (K)I and the Father are one.”

² since ^(A)you have given him authority over all flesh, ^(B)to give eternal life to all ^(C)whom you have given him. ^3 (D)And this is eternal life, ^(E)that they know you, ^(F)the only ^(G)true God, and ^(H)Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
