⁵ (For not even his brothers believed in him.)^(A)

²¹ When his family heard it, they went out to restrain him, for people were saying, “He has gone out of his mind.”^(A)

¹¹ He came to what was his own,^[a] and his own people did not accept him. ¹² But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God,^{(A) 13} who were born, not of blood or of the will of the flesh or of the will of man, but of God.^(B)

¹⁰ But after his brothers had gone to the festival, then he also went, not publicly but, as it were,^[a] in secret.

³ So his brothers said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea so that your disciples also may see the works you are doing,^(A)
