⁶² Then what if you see the Son of Man^(A) ascend to where he was before!^{(B) 63} The Spirit gives life;^(C) the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit^[a] and life. ⁶⁴ Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known^(D) from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.^{(E) 65} He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.”^(F)

⁴⁰ There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.

Awaiting the New Body

5 For we know that if the earthly^(A) tent^(B) we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.

¹⁹ Their destiny^(A) is destruction, their god is their stomach,^(B) and their glory is in their shame.^(C) Their mind is set on earthly things.^{(D) 20} But our citizenship^(E) is in heaven.^(F) And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,^(G)
