John 3:5-8

⁵Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of ^(A)water and the Spirit he cannot enter into ^(B)the kingdom of God. ⁶^(C)That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ⁷Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born ^[a]again.’ ⁸^(D)The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

⁶that which hath been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which hath been born of the Spirit is spirit.

⁷`Thou mayest not wonder that I said to thee, It behoveth you to be born from above;

⁸the Spirit where he willeth doth blow, and his voice thou dost hear, but thou hast not known whence he cometh, and whither he goeth; thus is every one who hath been born of the Spirit.'
