²¹ Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As ^(A)the Father has sent me, ^(B)even so I am sending you.” ²² And when he had said this, he ^(C)breathed on them and said to them, ^(D)“Receive the Holy Spirit. ^23 (E)If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”

Institution of the Lord's Supper

^26 (A)Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and ^(B)after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; ^(C)this is my body.” ²⁷ And he took a cup, and when he ^(D)had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, ²⁸ for ^(E)this is my ^(F)blood of the^[a] covenant, which is poured out for ^(G)many ^(H)for the forgiveness of sins.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and said to them, ^(A)“All authority ^(B)in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ^19 (C)Go therefore and ^(D)make disciples of ^(E)all nations, ^(F)baptizing them ^(G)in^{[a] (H)}the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them ^(I)to observe all that ^(J)I have commanded you. And behold, ^(K)I am with you always, to ^(L)the end of the age.”
