9 This was to fulfill the word he had spoken, “I did not lose any of those you gave me.”[a]
10 Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, slicing off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus. 11 Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword back into its scabbard! Am I not to drink the cup[b] that the Father has given me?”

11 Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup(B) the Father has given me?”
