⁸ When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: ⁹ about sin,^(A) because people do not believe in me; ¹⁰ about righteousness,^(B) because I am going to the Father,^(C) where you can see me no longer;

²⁰ Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn^(A) while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.^(B)

³³ “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.^(A) In this world you will have trouble.^(B) But take heart! I have overcome^(C) the world.”
