John 16:7-15
New American Standard Bible
7 But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the [a](A)Helper will not come to you; but if I go, (B)I will send Him to you. 8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment: 9 regarding sin, (C)because they do not believe in Me; 10 and regarding (D)righteousness, because (E)I am going to the Father and you no longer are going to see Me; 11 (F)and regarding judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
12 “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them at the present time. 13 But when He, (G)the Spirit of truth, comes, He will (H)guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 He will (I)glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you. 15 (J)All things that the Father has are Mine; this is why I said that He takes from Mine and will disclose it to you.

- John 16:7 Or Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor
John 16:7-15
New International Version
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate(A) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.(B) 8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin,(C) because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness,(D) because I am going to the Father,(E) where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world(F) now stands condemned.
12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear.(G) 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth,(H) comes, he will guide you into all the truth.(I) He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine.(J) That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”
John 16:7-15
King James Version
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

2 Corinthians 12:12-14
New American Standard Bible
12 The (A)distinguishing marks [a]of a true apostle were performed among you with all perseverance, by [b]signs, wonders, and [c]miracles. 13 For in what respect were you treated as inferior to the rest of the churches, except that (B)I myself did not become a burden to you? Forgive me (C)this wrong!
14 Here (D)for this third time I am ready to come to you, and I (E)will not be a burden to you; for I (F)do not seek what is yours, but (G)you; for (H)children are not responsible to save up for their parents, but (I)parents for their children.

12 I persevered in demonstrating among you the marks of a true apostle, including signs, wonders and miracles.(A) 13 How were you inferior to the other churches, except that I was never a burden to you?(B) Forgive me this wrong!(C)

2 Corinthians 12:12-14
King James Version
12 Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.
13 For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.
14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
