^23 (A)In that day you will ^(B)ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(C)whatever you ask of the Father in my name, ^(D)he will give it to you. ²⁴ Until now you have asked nothing in my name. ^(E)Ask, and you will receive, ^(F)that your joy may be full.

I Have Overcome the World

²⁵ “I have said these things to you in figures of speech. ^(G)The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech but will tell you plainly about the Father. ²⁶ In that day you will ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father on your behalf; ^27 (H)for the Father himself loves you, because ^(I)you have loved me and ^(J)have believed that I came from God.^[a]

⁴ But ^(A)when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, ^(B)born ^(C)of woman, born ^(D)under the law, ^5 (E)to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive ^(F)adoption as sons. ⁶ And because you are sons, God has sent ^(G)the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

Spiritual Blessings in Christ

^3 (A)Blessed be ^(B)the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing ^(C)in the heavenly places,

¹⁷ that ^(A)the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ^(B)may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, ^18 (C)having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is ^(D)the hope to which he has called you, what are ^(E)the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, ^(F)according to the working of ^(G)his great might ²⁰ that he worked in Christ ^(H)when he raised him from the dead and ^(I)seated him at his right hand ^(J)in the heavenly places, ^21 (K)far above ^(L)all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above ^(M)every name that is named, not only in ^(N)this age but also in the one to come. ²² And ^(O)he put all things under his feet and gave him as ^(P)head over all things to the church, ^23 (Q)which is his body, ^(R)the fullness of him ^(S)who fills ^(T)all in all.
